Welcome to treat your gut

Join our first fermentation AW where you will learn all the tips and tricks about fermentation and gut health with SYNBIOTIC KITCHEN. Come and learn how to make some gut-loving foods and how to boost your gut health. This is going to be FUN!

You will get an introduction into the how’s, what’s, why’s of synbiotic nutrition, the health benefits of adding probiotic- and prebiotic-rich foods into your diet and explore the magic of fermentation in a hands-on workshop making your own fermented goodies.

During the event, you will learn how to make KEFIR, both the traditional fermented drink originated from the Caucasus Mountains made out of milk, and also water kefir.

Similar to Kombucha, water kefir and milk kefir are fermented beverages that are delicious and healthy. Unlike kombucha, water kefir and milk kefir ferments much faster and easier to consume on a daily basis for home brewing. During the workshop, we will show you how to make water and milk kefir in a step-by-step process and the techniques required to make your own successful batch at home! We will be teaching the Milk kefir fermentation using dairy milk however you can ferment the same way using vegan mylks as well.

Aline, Founder of Synbiotic Kitchen

Your fermentation guide this evening will be Aline, which is a scientist in Microbiology and Biotechnology. She was also working as a researcher within Digitial Health and Personalized Nutrition at the app Lifesum. She founded Synbiotic Kitchen to share her insights in synbiotic cooking principles, a nutritional approach focused on maintaining a diet that is healthy not only for you, but also for the inner you - aka your microbiome.

A house - A food destination

A house is a meeting place for us who are curious about food and its role for people and our society. We are exploring the possibilities of food from a creative perspective.

This event will be held in A kitchen, which is our modern kitchen lab. You'll reach it from the entrance on Östermalmsgatan 26A.
